“Introspective, exciting and very deep.” With these words started the review published on the website of the famous Brazilian magazine Roadie Crew about DEEP MEMORIES debut album: ‘Rebuilding The Future’.

The first album from Douglas Martins project is not released yet but has already been praised by those who have heard it. Roadie Crew Magazine just stated the album as a reference for the style: “A band that with this release will be a reference of the style for sure”.

Written by Éden Lozano, the review passes through the eight tracks and describes a little bit of what we can feel about the album:

“Doom Metal presented in this artifact is unique, even got is own identity in compositions and demonstrate cadence, heaviness and different nuances, mixing melody and aggression with beautiful duets of guitars, an atmosphere that leads to large global metal icons of Death Metal, Doom Metal, Gothic Metal and Progressive Metal with vocals and varied from speeches, sung parts, choirs and more torn and guttural vocals.”

And this approval is not only in Brazil. Another website was already chocked with ‘Rebuilding The Future’, the American zine Doomed To Darkness:

“Deep Memories plays a musical style that takes progressive, goth, doom and melodic death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of his own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover loneliness and death themes. (…) In my opinion Deep Memories is a very great sounding progressive and melodic mixture of goth, doom, and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project.”
