“It is the case of Rhevan, which with a dedicated and honest work can print its own characteristics to its gothic / symphonic metal, fleeing off the trap of sounding too similar to the bands of the Dutch school (After Forever, Epica and the like). Instead, what we see here, coupled with the typical orchestrations, are riffs very inspired on old school NWOBHM, which yields pleasing tracks like Dark Sunrise, Drunk with The Blood Of Saints, Lady of the Forest and the title track.”
